born in Harare (Zimbabwe), from Neuchâtel (French speaking Switzerland), studied East Asian Art History and Chinese Language and Culture at the University of Zurich and at the Beijing Language and Cultural University in China and Cultural Management in Lucerne, spearheaded for almost a decade the global development and execution of Art Basel Client strategy and lead the worldwide the VIP team along with its global client network (2014-2022). Prior to that, she headed Christie’s Zurich office as General Manager for seven years (2006-2014) and led the Asian Art Department at Koller Auctions in Zurich (1994-2000). Most recently, as Head of the Art Initiative for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Geneva, she initiated the Art Prize for Humanity. Furthermore, she currently sits on several Advisory Boards, eg. Member of the Advisory Board of the Executive Master in Art Market Studies (EMAMS) at the University of Zurich, Board Member of the Lagos Biennial (Nigeria), and of the art fair Paris Internationale. Furthermore, she is the Founding Member of the Global Council of the Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (ZEITZ MOCAA) in Cape Town (South Africa).
