Main Focus
In our Contemporary Art department, we focus on German artists from the generation that worked from the 1960s through the 1990s, such as Albert Oehlen, Martin Kippenberger, Günther Förg or Peter Roehr. In general, however, numerous artistic movements from the 1960s up until the present day are represented in our contemporary art auctions: Zero, Minimalism, Conceptual Art, Pop-Art, and even Bad Painting and Postmodern Realism. The works on offer include outstanding paintings and drawings as well as sculptures and installations by a large number of renowned artists, such as Günther Uecker, Ed Kienholz, Isa Genzken, Andy Warhol, Tony Cragg, or Stephan Balkenhol.
