Portraits from "People of the 20th Century".

70 Gelatin silver prints, printed by Gunther Sander 1961–63. From 40,9 × 26,9 cm to 49,7 × 39 cm (16 ⅛ × 10 ⅝ in. to 19 ⅝ × 15 ⅜ in.). Each in the image lower left with the blindstamp: "Aug. Sander, Köln Lindenthal". Each laid down on original cardboard (approx. 59,7 x 49,3 cm), thereupon on the reverse the stamp: "printed by Gunther Sander, 19.....", therein date of the print in pencil: "61/63". Each signed, dated, titled and annotated in pencil by Gerd Sander as well as numbered in pencil by further hands. 32 original cardboards with black adhesive numbers in lower right. Unique set of large-format exhibition prints, printed in August Sander's lifetime.
