A painting of the same motif by Eduard Magnus, dated 1844, became part of the legendary art collection of Count Athanasius Raczynski and is now in the National Museum in Poznan ("Portrait study. Portrait of a Page’, oil on canvas, labelled on the reverse: Eduard Magnus pinxit, Berlin 1844, inv. no. Mo 447).
