Condition Report: Fine, harmonious overall appearance. The sheet edges without tears or losses. The paper at the upper and the bottom edge unevenly trimmed and overall with slight scuff marks. At the left edge above the centre one small splatter of black paint (presumably a trace from the artist's studio). In the right margins in places faint, hardly noticeable water stains as well as mainly along the bottom edge somewhat soiled. Ultraviolet light reveals no retouchings or repairs. On the reverse at the right edge at the top and at the bottom each one small remnant of brown paper mounting. At the upper left and right edge mounted with Japan paper onto the support cardboard
