At the upper left edge as well as along the left and right edges several tears backed with Japan paper (max. 1,9 cm); one of these at the upper right edge with accompanying tiny loss (0.3 x 0.1). The paper unevenly time stained and mainly along the margins creased. In the upper half of the sheet visible in raking light, otherwise faint diagonal creases (max. 18 cm) as well as at the height of the head one fine crinkle crease (9,2 cm). In the lower left corner minuscule dents. In the lower half of the sheet in places liquid stains and brownish stains. Ultraviolet light reveals no retouchings or repairs. On the reverse in places slight scuff marks. In the upper corners remnants of former paper mounting
