In cooperation with Galerie Max Hetzler, Grisebach is holding a charity auction as part of its autumn auctions on 1 December, the proceeds of which will go to the Kayany Foundation.
Kayany promotes the education of children in Syrian refugee camps and builds its own mobile schools for this purpose. http://kayany-foundation.org/
Numerous important artists and galleries are supporting the children in Syria by donating works of art. Among others, works by Ai Weiwei, Martin Assig, André Butzer, Jérémy Demester, Jeff Elrod, Günther Förg, Mona Hatoum, Thilo Heinzmann, Gregor Hildebrandt, Thomas Houseago, Tobias Pils, Thomas Struth, Rosemarie Trockel, Akram Zaatari and Toby Ziegler will be auctioned.
